What Is HIV And AIDS?

HIV is human immunodeficiency virus. HIV is the virus that can lead to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), if not treated on time. Unlike some other HIV viruses, the human body can’t get rid of HIV completely, even with treatment. So once you get HIV virus, you have it for life long.

AIDS is the most severe phase of HIV infection in patient. People with AIDS have destroy immune systems in body that they get an increasing number of severe illnesses, called opportunistic infections.
